OIG report deems ED imaging documentation deficient

You’ll want to take a look at your diagnostic radiology documentation for services performed in an emergency department. Nearly 70% of interpretations and reports for computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and X-ray services in 2008 did not follow American College of Radiology guidelines, OIG says.
